At the end of March, a Water Monitor Symposium was held at the Lussier Center in Madison. This day-and-a-half meeting included many interesting topics to Water Action Volunteers from across Wisconsin. Additionally, our Central Wisconsin TU River Keepers rec'd the Group Effort Award for 2011. Congratulations to everyone. Let's continue to contribute in the coming years. Thank you.

Here's the Program from the Symposium with links to the various presentations that you may find of interest. The workshop was educational and entertaining. To learn more, click on the links below.

Hi everyone,

Even if you were not able to join us for this year's Volunteer Stream Monitoring Symposium, we wanted to let you know we have posted the presentations on the monitoring website.

We have also created a resource page with links to topics that you may be interested in learning more about as related to assessing agricultural impacts in your watershed. A big thanks to Anne Miller for providing many of the links.

The River Alliance will keep you informed on issues that are relevant to river and watershed groups through their e-newsletter the TRIB. You can read past issues of the TRIB on the River Alliance website.
